Israel ranked second on the list of 17 best-dressed Olympians. “That’s how you do athletic jackets with style,” USA Today said, describing Team Israel’s garb in blue and white, the colors of the nation’s flag.
First place was given to Mongolia, which the newspaper said displayed “bright, colorful, and a touch of amazing design on the women’s skirts.” India was ranked third for its “gorgeous” saris worn by its female athletes.
Israel sent its largest-ever delegation to compete this summer in the 2016 Olympic Games. Team Israel consists of 47 athletes competing in 16 sports.
