UNESCO’s Distortion of History: Betraying Heritage in Jericho
UNESCO’s politicization and historical distortion in the contentious recognition of ancient Jericho as a Palestinian World Heritage site must be called out.
UNESCO’s decision to inscribe ancient Jericho on the World Heritage List as a “Palestinian” site is an outrageous display of cowardice and deception, and a disgraceful testament to UNESCO’s blatant politicization.
This move not only perpetuates the Palestinians’ relentless campaign to distort history but also shamelessly denies the indisputable Jewish connections to our holy sites.
Shame on @UNESCO for yet again cowering to the Palestinians relentless attempts to fabricate history and deny Jewish (and Christian) connections to our holy sites, and allowing for the politicization of the organization.
