Elton John was back in Tel Aviv this week, where he performed for tens of thousands of fans and dedicated one of his famous hits to Israel.
Musical celebrity Sir Elton John wowed about 40,000 fans in Tel Aviv Thursday night, where he performed for the second time since 2010, despite pressure applied by anti-Israel activists on musicians to boycott the Jewish State.
Tel Aviv was the first stop of his current eight-week tour, and he told the crowd that he “couldn’t have asked for a better audience or a nicer place to play.”
“This is your song, Israel,” he said before playing one of his famous hits, “Your Song.” Watch – and enjoy!
