Since the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, the terrorist group has been on a mission to harm the West and present itself as more moderate than it used to be.
A New York Times reporter has even fallen for their game.
A Taliban spokesman was even interviewed by Israel’s national broadcaster Kan. Suhail Shaheen said Afghans had no need to be scared and people “can lead a normal life.”
But afterward, Shaheen denied that he knowingly spoke to Israeli media.
