BEWARE: Jackals Attack Israelis in the North
Unprovoked, wild canines have attacked Israelis recently in the north of the country – not just in the woods, but in the city of Nahariya.
In Nahariya, the largest city in northern Israel, citizens are all on the lookout for a very unusual new predator – jackals!
Within just 48 hours, the Galilee Medical Center admitted at least nine people who arrived with bites from the feral canines.
The Nature and Parks Authority fears an outbreak of rabies.
