Firefighters salvaged a reportedly 100 year old Torah from yesterday’s house fire in Boca Raton along Arcadia Court. Heavy flames and smoke were coming from the roof when firefighters arrived. They put the fire out and were able to go in and search for the Torah at the request of the homeowners. The house is badly damaged but our firefighters were grateful to be able salvage something very important and special for the family.
