After an impassioned plea from Israel’s chief rabbi, the government officially reopened synagogues, churches, and mosques.
On Tuesday, Israel’s Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi David Lau implored the government to reopen synagogues.
Following his the chief rabbi’s impassioned plea, the government announced on Wednesday that synagogues, churches, and mosques were officially reopened.
While masks must be worn and social distancing is still required, Israelis rejoiced as they reentered their beloved houses of worship.
