VIDEO: How an Israeli Man Thanks the Medic Who Saved His Life

Hatzala heart attack

This Israeli man and the medic who performed CPR on him after a near-fatal heart attack have a beautiful ritual they observe each year.

After a heart attack, Yigal had no breath and was without a pulse for 20 minutes, during which time a medic from United Hatzala named Roni performed CPR and did everything in his power to keep Yigal alive.

On May 13 every year, at 8:01 a.m. sharp, which was the time and date on which the heart attack occurred, the two men either meet at the spot where the miracle happened or correspond with each other on their phones.

Yigal has never forgotten what Roni did on that fateful day, and neither will you after you hear this heartwarming tale.
