An Israeli-Arab staunch supporter of the Jewish state told a crowd in Jerusalem recently that the anti-Israel boycott movement bears some responsibility for the spike in anti-Semitism across the globe.

Yoseph Haddad, an Israeli-Arab Christian, appeared at a Jerusalem rally this week, issuing a stern warning about the influence of the anti-Israel boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) movement and its role in the rise of anti-Semitism internationally.

A resident of Nazareth, Haddad fought in the Second Lebanese War as part of the IDF’s prestigious Golani Brigade, sustaining injuries during his service.

Haddad serves as director of an organization called BeYachad—Aravim Zeh la-Zeh, which connects the Arab sector to the larger Israeli society.
