This photo by Zev Rothkoff of a wheat field in the village of Mevo Dotan (lit. “Dotan’s approach”) in the northern Samarian hills. It is named for being on the way to the ancient town of Dotan, mentioned in the Bible as the place where Joseph finds his brothers in the field (Gen. 37:17).
