A day ahead of US Independence Day, Netanyahu visited the USS George H. W. Bush supercarrier that was anchored off Haifa and welcomed the crew to Israel.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara boarded the USS George H.W. Bush supercarrier, named after the 41st President of the United States, who had served as a naval aviator during World War II.
Addressing the crew, Netanyahu likened the State of Israel to the massive carrier. The Jewish State is a symbol to the world of freedom and victory, standing ton he front lines in the battle between civilization and darkness, he said.
Israel and America share the same values and the same vision, the prime minister stated.
