What is the deep significance of the fact that a wellspring had dried up? Here’s an important lesson about appreciation.

While the Jewish people traveled in the desert for 40 years, they had a wellspring of water that remained with them throughout the journey. Only when Moses’ sister Miriam died did they realize it was only in her merit that they had this precious water.

In the Torah portion of Chukat, when Miriam died, the water ceased to flow.
