A flock of sheep, believed to be the same breed herded by the biblical Jacob, recently moved from Canada to Israel with their owners.
After more than a thousand years, it appears that Jacob’s sheep – the descendants of those belonging to the biblical Jacob – have finally returned to their native land Israel.
The flock of 119 sheep recently moved from Canada to Israel with their owners, Gil and Jenna Lewinsky.
These sheep have the same markings as those described in the bible (Genesis 30). Their genes have been traced back thousands of years.
