Israeli Olympic surfer Anat Lelior

This IDF soldier is headed to the Olympics in surfing and was just honored as a “Global Barbie Role Model.”

Anat Lelior began surfing at the tender age of 5, hitting the beach in Tel Aviv with her father.

In 2019, Lelior won the Burton Automotive Pro International Trials in Australia and qualified for in her sport for the 2020 summer Olympics.

The young Israeli, who also serves in the IDF, was also recently honored as a “Global Barbie Role Model,” which means a doll will be on the market fashioned in her image.
